As a creative agency, our weekly meetings are what keep us together. It’s imperative that we make the most out of our meetings- So this is how we do it!
1. Schedule one important meeting
Instead of scheduling seven phone conferences or small meetings throughout the week, we like to schedule what we call “work days”. At our work days, we sit for an entire “shift” (5-8 hours) and work on our upcoming projects. Although our work days have schedules like our meetings, it’s a more simple and efficient way to get everything done.
2. Make it mandatory
Since meetings aren’t multiple times a week, all meetings are mandatory. If you can’t physically make it, feel free to dial in.
3. Remove distractions
Sometimes we think we’re multi-tasking queens, but in reality…… we’re not. Sometimes to actually grasp all of the info from your meeting you need to remove all distractions of side convos, cell phones, etc.
4. Make an agenda
Behind every successful meeting is an agenda! The quickest way to frustrate your team is to waste their time. To make the most of your time, jot down key talking points to make sure you address everything during your meeting. You want to make sure each meeting is informative (share info on status updates, finances, client updates, etc.) and collaborative (ie. our work days or just collaborating on new ideas for clients).
6. Have a note taker
Not the most glamorous job, but somebody has to do it! Taking notes serves as a record of decisions made and reminding everyone of their responsibilities before the next meeting.
What we’re listening to: Snoh Aalegra's album FEELS. Perfect office day feels.
What we’re drinking: Beso Del Sol Sangria. You can get it at your local supermarket. What really sold us was the packaging! It’s all natural and comes in a box to share or a personal if you want to take it there ;)
Where we’re eating: Bulla Gastrobar is one of our favs right now. Good drinks *check*, good food *check*, Aesthetic *check*
